Pamela Newman, Psy.D., M.S.C.P.


Dr. Newman is a highly trained clinical psychologist with specialized expertise in both therapeutic and pharmacological approaches to patient care. In addition to her doctorate in psychology, she holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology, enabling her to provide comprehensive, integrative treatment. When appropriate, she can consult directly with your physician to address medication-related or biological factors that may influence your mental health.
Dr. Newman has advanced training in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), specific phobias, depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. She received specialized instruction in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) from its original developers at the University of Pennsylvania as well as being an associate with the IOCDF. Her approach is collaborative—working closely with you to identify your goals and develop a personalized, evidence-based treatment plan.
She provides individual therapy on a private-pay basis and also serves as a clinical psychologist at a local psychiatric hospital. Her patient-centered approach is grounded in research and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Dr. Newman is committed to working with a diverse range of clients, including business professionals, and offers flexible scheduling with evening and weekend appointments. By maintaining a limited caseload, she ensures greater accessibility and responsiveness to her patients' needs.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Newman is a passionate tennis player and enjoys time with her beloved Boston Terrier. Family and friends are central to her life, and she values the meaningful moments they share.
