Dr. Newman is a highly trained clinical psychologist with specialized expertise in both therapeutic and pharmacological approaches to care. In addition to her doctorate in psychology, she holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology, which allows her to provide comprehensive, integrative treatment. When appropriate, she collaborates directly with physicians to address medication-related or biological factors that may influence mental health.

She has advanced training in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), phobias, depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. Dr. Newman received specialized instruction in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) from its original developers at the University of Pennsylvania and is an associate of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). Her approach is collaborative, working closely with each client to identify goals and create a personalized, evidence-based treatment plan.

In addition to offering private-pay individual therapy, Dr. Newman serves as a clinical psychologist at a local psychiatric hospital. She is committed to working with a diverse range of clients, including business professionals, and offers flexible scheduling with evening and weekend appointments. By maintaining a limited caseload, she ensures accessibility and responsiveness to her clients’ needs.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Newman is a passionate tennis player and enjoys time with her beloved Boston Terrier. She values time with family and friends and the meaningful connections they share.
